This fall another 50+ Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) MacPhail School of Energy Instrumentation Students signed-up for or renewed their International Society of Automation (ISA) student membership at our annual SAIT Student Membership Drives, held October 2nd for first year students and October 16th for 2nd year students.
First and foremost, a special thanks to Mark Tarrant, IASC (Industrial Automation Student Club) Founder, and the IASC Student Board Members for helping organize this event.
Students enjoyed pizza and drinks provided by the ISA Calgary Section and heard from various Board Members including our President, Amar Mehta, Student Chapter Liaison and Mentorship Program Lead, Matthew Rebus, Mentorship Program Committee Member, Wayne Penninga, ISA HQ Past President, Marty Bince, and more. ISA Calgary Section Mentorship Program
The ISA Calgary Section is excited to launch our Mentorship Program, an opportunity aimed at facilitating personal and profession growth for mentees and mentors alike. We emphasize the power of guidance, support, inspiration and empowerment through meaningful conversations and collaborative goal setting. 2025-2026 is our pilot year welcoming students from Southern Alberta post secondary institutions.
