Join us on April 21 over lunch for our April Technical Talk - Severe Service Control Valves in Process Automation.
Technical Talk Overview
Severe service applications place significant demands on process automation systems, where control valves play a critical role in maintaining stable, safe, and efficient operation. High pressure drops, aggressive media, and multi-phase flow can introduce challenges such as cavitation, noise, and erosion, directly impacting control performance and loop stability.
Effective valve design and selection must align with control strategy requirements, incorporating advanced trim technologies, proper actuator sizing, and integration with digital positioners and diagnostics. These elements enable improved control accuracy, predictive maintenance, and higher plant availability.
This presentation explores valve design and key considerations for reliable control valve performance within modern process automation environments.
