2023-2024 President’s Message – The Value

Automation is EXPLODING and will continue to play an increasing role in our lives, both professionally, even personally. Looking at the demand in the marketplace, I see a great future for our industry. In general, all sectors will be furthering their automaton and digital transformation efforts, and this is a climate where those (both businesses and people) that have embraced what the ISA has to offer will stand out.
My presidency will centre around showcasing the value ISA brings to the automation industry, and how ISA helps. Elevating automation in Southern Alberta is truly what The ISA Calgary Section is all about.
What inspired me to become President?
I have been an ISA Member for many years, starting with the ISA Dhahran Section (read more about my journey). A few years ago, I was compelled to become actively involved in the ISA Calgary Section, and worked as Secretary and Treasurer. I am continuing my efforts by volunteering as President this year, with the intention of giving back and making an impact, which hopefully will bring me great satisfaction.
My Presidential Goals? I have many.
- Top of my agenda, providing knowledge about new technologies and opportunities to build your professional network.
- Promoting the value that ISA brings: to members - and - to local industry (training, certification and standards).
- Building the automation community in Calgary and Alberta.
- Growing ISA Calgary Section membership.
